Il Frankfurt Musikmesse 2011 si tiene dal 6 al 9 aprile all'imponente fiera di Francoforte. Ci troverai al solito stand nel hall 3.1 allo stand numero F75.
Quest'anno avremo un paio di novità:takes place from April 6th to April 9th in the exhibitions halls Frankfurt. You will find Lakewood Guitars at the same place like every year, in hall 3.1 at booth no. F75.
This year we have got a couple of news that we would like to show. Here's part 2.
New option in the Lakewood customshop: The relic version!
The Lakewood customshop is now offering a very special option that is real eye-catcher. If it is your wish you can order any Lakewood guitar as a relic version – artificially aged. The terms are not quite new anymore, because especially on electric guitars it has become very popular and is not at all a taboo anymore. But when it come to acoustic guitars people are not too familiar with the topic, since not many guitar makers are offering that option yet. Sometimes new guitars are not supposed to look like new but are expected to have an inherent character right from the start. Lakewood Guitars is one of the very few acoustic guitar manufacturers that officially put that option on the list. For a bit of extra money you can now order any guitar in the customshop as a relic version, which results in getting your new guitar made to your personal preferences but then having it delivered as a “new used one”.
But is there an influence on the sound characteristics? Many musicians that tested our first relic models would swear that it did change something! But is it only a matter of subjective conception? The only way to find our is probably checking one of those instruments – perhaps on the Frankfurt Musikmesse?
